Forse non tutti sanno che anche a Bergamo Alta, in Piazza Vecchia al numero 4, davanti alla statua di Torquato Tasso, c'è una piccola casa ed è larga quanto la sua stessa porta!
In pochi si accorgono della sua presenza, passa inosservata, alcuni credono che sia una parte di qualche edificio storico. La sua creazione e la sua presenza sono un vero mistero, ma il segreto è uno solo perchè quello che noi vediamo è la parte di un edificio più grande che "cresce" al suo interno il cui cortile confina con il Palazzo della Ragione ed il Duomo.
Nessuno ha mai detto che quella sia proprio la casa più stretta del mondo, ma a noi bergamaschi piace pensarlo, e comunque sicuramente è la casetta bergamasca più stretta che ci sia!

Nur wenige bemerken seine Anwesenheit, es bleibt unbemerkt, manche glauben, es sei Teil eines historischen Gebäudes. Seine Entstehung und seine Präsenz sind ein wahres Geheimnis, aber das Geheimnis ist nur eines, denn was wir sehen, ist der Teil eines größeren Gebäudes, das in seinem Inneren „wächst“, dessen Innenhof an den Palazzo della Ragione und den Dom grenzt.
Niemand hat jemals gesagt, dass dies das schmalste Haus der Welt ist, aber wir Bergamo-Leute denken das gerne, und auf jeden Fall ist es sicherlich das schmalste Bergamo-Haus, das es gibt!
