A Mindszenty hercegprímás tere, vagy röviden csak Mindszenty tér, Esztergom egyik legnagyobb és legjelentősebb tere a Vízivárosban. A városrész legnagyobb tereként közel 1200 m2; területen terül el, döntően burkolt (macskaköves) felületekkel.Az épületekkel behatárolt térből három utca indul, a Berényi Zsigmond-, a Pázmány Péter- és a Kis-Duna sétány, valamint utóbbi találkozásánál található a Kossuth híd, amely a Prímás-szigetre vezet, valamint itt van az Erzsébet Park bejárata is.
A Mindszenty téren számos esztergomi műemléki épület is megtalálható. A téren áll az egykori ideiglenes főszékesegyházi szerepet betöltő, kéttornyú Loyolai Szent Ignác-plébániatemplom. A templom közvetlen szomszédságában áll az esztergomi érsek rezidenciájának készült Prímási palota, amely többek között az ország leggazdagabb egyházi gyűjteményével is rendelkező Keresztény Múzeumának, valamint az Érseki Simor Könyvtárnak és a Prímási Levéltárnak is otthont ad. A téren található továbbá az MNM Balassa Bálint Múzeumának főépülete, a Szatmári Irgalmas Nővérek Tartományfőnökségének egy része, az Árpád-házi Szent Erzsébet Iskola, valamint lakóházak is. A Mindszenty téren áll továbbá a Pestis-Madonna szobor, amely az 1739-es pestis emlékére épült. A tér fölé magasodó, a Várhegyen álló bazilikára és a fellegvárra is remek kilátás nyílik a térről.

Mindszenty Square is one of the largest and most significant squares in Esztergom Víziváros. As the largest square in the district, it covers an area of almost 1200 m2, with predominantly paved (cobbled) surfaces. The square is bounded by buildings and has three streets, Zsigmond Berényi, Péter Pázmány and Kis-Duna promenades, and at the junction of the latter is the Kossuth Bridge leading to the Prímás Island, as well as the entrance to the Elisabeth Park.
Mindszenty Square is also home to a number of Esztergom's listed buildings. The square is also home to the two-towered parish church of St Ignatius of Loyola, which once served as a temporary cathedral. In the immediate vicinity of the church is the Primate's Palace, the residence of the Archbishop of Esztergom, which houses, among other things, the Christian Museum, which has the country's richest ecclesiastical collection, as well as the Archbishop Simor Library and the Primate's Archives. The square is also home to the main building of the Balassa Bálint Museum of the MNM, part of the Provincial Headquarters of the Sisters of Charity of Satu Mare, the St. Elisabeth School of the House of Árpád, and residential buildings. Mindszenty Square is also home to the statue of the Madonna of Pestis, built in memory of the 1739 plague. The square overlooks the basilica on Castle Hill and the citadel.
