Geocache Description:


The Freedom Tree, a sculpture by Richard Perry was unveilled by Queen Elizabeth on Liberation day 2005.

The tree was placed at West Park, where islanders gathered to watch the massive American landing ships arrived in May 1945 at the end of the occupation of WWII.

The tree boasts 30 leaves and an acorn to represent each of the parishes in Jersey.

 

To claim this cache  the following criteria must be met. Messages can be sent via Geocache message. The cache can be claimed before a reply from myself. any logs that do not meet the critrea will be deleted.

1. Name each of the Parishes the tree represents.

2. Name the castle on the Island nearby.

3 Attach a photo of you/team member/ identifier with the tree.
