Geocache Description:

This mural on the side of the building at Langley Airport honours the Flying Seven, a group of female aviators who broke barriers by being pilots at a time when this was not a usual career for women.

There is free public parking within 5 m of GZ.  Do not try to park on 216th street.

To log this cache:

Upload with your log a photo of you or a piece of paper with your geocaching name or your GPS with the mural in the background.    This might require you to walk north on the paved path to get the mural behind you.  Please ensure your photo does not reveal any answers.

Send answers to the following questions through the app or email:

1. locate the sign at GZ.  Who was the leader of the Flying Seven?

2. During which years did they fly?

3. use waypoint #1 and cross 216th street using the marked crosswalk.  Locate the stone historic monument.  What item does this historic monument commemorate and when was it planted?
