ITA - E' forse la più iconica immagine della fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale quella di un marinaio che bacia un'infermiera , scattata il 14 agosto del 1945 e divenuta cosi l'immagine simbolo della gioia degli americani per la fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale .
Nei pressi del Forte Michelangelo lungo il Molo del bicchiere, è possibile ammirare la statua “Il Bacio della Memoria di un Porto” raffigurante una giovane donna che bacia un marinaio della "Regia Capitaneria di porto". L'ideatrice del progetto è Ivana Puleo e la statua è stata realizzata dalle fonderie Marinelli, grazie al contributo di alcuni operatori del settore marittimo , portuale e privati.
L’opera, inaugurata il 16 settembre 2020, in occasione dei festeggiamenti per i 150 anni della Capitaneria di Porto, è stata realizzata per ricordare tutti coloro che partirono dal porto di Civitavecchia, principalmente a seguito di eventi bellici, in alcuni casi senza far più ritorno, e anche con l’intento di ricordare il devastante bombardamento che il 14 maggio del 1943 distrusse l’edificio storico della Capitaneria, gran parte del porto e dell’abitato cittadino, cancellando secoli di storia.
La statua, oggi giorno, richiama la curiosità di passanti e turisti che non possono fare a meno di fotografare quel bacio che dice a tutti noi:

Per poter loggare la cache è necessario fare quanto segue:
dovete recarvi presso la statua ubicata alla coordinate indicate e scattare una foto dove sia presente la statua e voi in contemporanea , in alternativa per i più timidi è possibile inquadrare insieme alla statua qualcosa che indichi il vostro nickname di geocaching.
Per poter essere ritenuto valido il vostro log dovrà contenere le foto della statua, qualora non rispestasse questi requisiti sarà , con mio grande dispiacere , non ritenuto valido e cancellato.
