[SLO] Cerkev Sv. Tomaža
Cerkev sv. Tomaža, zgrajena leta 1512, se nahaja v vasi Britof. Domačini, t.i.

[ENG] Church of St. Tomaž
The Church of St. Thomas, built in 1512, is located in the village of Britof (old slang for cemetery). The locals, the so-called Britoflians, tell several different legends as to why the place is so named, even though the village has no cemetery. The Britoflans like to joke that they have lived in Britof all their lives, then go to britof in the neighbouring village of Predoslje, which is the nearest cemetery. The most probable origin of the village name comes from the old cemetery that used to be next to the church.
