While this is the usual date and time for our monthly gathering, I have been asked to expand the event to include 2 other items: GEAA's Annual General Meeting, and a presentation about a proposed MEGA.
We will meet in the back lounge (same place as the CARW2024 wrapup). Go in the front door, cross the restaurant to the stairs leading up to the bar, cross through the bar to the back lounge. Please order as soon as you arrive.
Everyone is responsible for their own tab.
5:30 - 6:30 pm dinner
The usual special will take place with the official start of the event at 5:30, and will go until about 6:30 to give people a little extra time to arrive late and still eat. Although the official start time for the event is 5:30, people may arrive at any time.
6:30 - 7:00 pm Alberta MEGA 2025 info session
Purchase of food or beverage is encouraged, but NOT NECESSARY to attend either the presentation or the meeting.
The presentation about the MEGA will start right after dinner and finish about 7:00. Please come out and meet the organizers. Find out who they are; what is being planned for this event. When? Where? What will it be called? All this and much more... Come be one of the first to get all the inside information on the MEGA event happening in Alberta in 2025.
7:00 - 7:30 pm GEAA Annual General Meeting
The AGM will start after the presentation at about 7:00 and should finish about 7:30, but may take a bit longer to accommodate voting as needed, and any residual questions about the MEGA.
