BONUS: Use the Letter Alphabet Code "L" if you want to complete the Bonus GCAHV69.

CARRIER PIGEON MAIL HISTORY: Pigeon Mail or Post means using pigeons ("Columba livia domestica") as mail or letter carriers. Ancient Romans used pigeons for chariot race messages. Genghis Khan established the pigeon relay (as pigeon range is 60-100 miles, using the Earth's magnetic field, with natural homing abilities). in the Middle Ages to 1800s, carriert pigeons were used for commerce, navigation, and armed forces. During WWI, pigeons had a 95% success rate, according to the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Tracing paper bore messages placed in tiny aluminum capsules smaller than thimbles.
BLOCK STAMP FOR LETTERBOXERS: A Block Stamp (not a Postage Stamp) is provided for you to stamp only on your own letterbox material. Do not take this Block Stamp. Please bring and use your own Ink Pad as it is not provided.
