Fievel and I have been streaking for what feels like forever. We're finally going to reach our 500 day goal! To celebrate we've planned a whole day filled with some of our favorite activities.
I love hiking with fellow cachers! The adventure, the conversation, the... rattlesnakes...
Unfortunately, living in Indy limits our access to long-distance hikes unless we are able to travel an hour or so down to Brown County or Hoosier National Forest. BUT the greater Indy area is filled with dozens of small- and medium-sized parks that boast miles of trails stretching all across the city and its environs, many of which are dotted with geocaches! I propose we get outside and enjoy them (especially now while the bugs and the weeds are in retreat)! Will you join me?
This event is a short (half hour) meet and greet in the parking area just north of Lakeshore Trail. I know hiking isn't for everyone, so the meet and greet part is scheduled only for half an hour. Afterward (at 2:30 p.m.), I'll be heading west into the woods to enjoy the short trail around the wetlands. There are a handful of caches along the way, and anyone who comes along is welcome to join in the fun!
