Globetrotter Geocachers Challenges
In this challenge serie you will be rewarded if you - like me - like to combine traveling and geocaching.
For each challenge cache you will need to find a chosen type of geocache in X different countries and you will need also Y finds of this type in Hungary. (Hungary counts as one country in number X.)
To meet the requirements of this cache you must have at least
- 4 letterbox finds in 4 different countries and
- 3 letterbox finds in Hungary.
As Hungary counts as one, you must have 3 finds in Hungary and others (at least 1 find per country) in at least 3 different countries.
To check if you qualify you can use this challenge checker:

Additional info about logging this challenge cache (according to the rules of challenge caches):
- FTF can be logged only with a 'found it' log. This means you can be the FTF only if you fulfill the requirements!
- You can send a 'write note' log if you find the cache itself even if you do not fulfill the requirements yet. These 'notes' cannot be changed to 'found it' logs! Later, when you meet the requirements you can log it as a find by a 'found it' log. (So you are not allowed to 'date back' your find or FTF.)
- You must attach the results of running the challenge checker script. You can include the part of the example log that the checker generates or a screenshot about its result.
An example of the result of this challenge checker (my current stats in 21.01.2024):
I have completed this challenge!
I have found total 35 Letterbox Hybrids in 9 different countries (4 needed), 18 in Hungary (3 needed).
The number of my Letterbox Hybrid finds per countries are:
1. Hungary: 18 Letterbox Hybrids
2. United Kingdom: 1 Letterbox Hybrid
3. Slovenia: 1 Letterbox Hybrid
4. Romania: 4 Letterbox Hybrids
5. Belgium: 1 Letterbox Hybrid
6. Austria: 7 Letterbox Hybrids
7. Switzerland: 1 Letterbox Hybrid
8. Croatia: 1 Letterbox Hybrid
9. Slovakia: 1 Letterbox Hybrid
'Found it' logs without physical find and 'notes' changed to 'found it' logs will be deleted to keep these challenges clear.
