A BIG PUDDLE

A Nice little stop on the side of the freeway heading Southbound towards Melbourne. Take the Woodend / Lancefield exit off the Calder Freeway, Or if heading North you will need to take the Carlsrhue exit on Springvale Road and double back down Cobb and Co Road.

DO NOT STOP ON THE FREEWAY TO GET THIS CACHE!!.. There is a barbed wire fence you will need to cross to get to this location anyway, so save your pants and use the offramp, and park at the recommended parking spot.

At the parking location you will find a nice pond of water. This is usually used for refilling up council water trucks for road maintenance or fire fighting services. A few people sometimes throw a fishing rod in to see what they can catch, id assume there would only be carp in here.

The cache is placed around the back of the dam so you will need to walk around the shoreline, use caution as the edge is covered with clay and can be slippery in wet conditions. and there would be a chance of snakes in the warmer months.
