If you leave from Stevens Corner Parking Lot, this hike is 1.5 miles long one way. There are no views but if you enjoy a walk in the woods to look at spruce and fungi at certain times of the year. We placed the cache in the winter and it was a medium hike up the path with some ups and downs. There are exposed roots and rocks. The first 0.3 up Frohock Mountain Trail is an uphill. If you hike beyond the cache you could make it to Frohock Mountain. Be award that you stay on the trail until you are quite close to the cache. There is no need to bushwack steeply uphill.
This is one of the quieter hikes in Camden State Park. If you chose to bike this trail it has a black diamond rating.
