A community morning with orchard and hedgerow planting, path making and much more!

Join us to transform a space on the edge of Stokenchurch into a Family Orchard Nature Reserve.
Getting here:
Eastwood Road, Stokenchurch, HP14 3SN
The minibus will be running as usual for anybody who wishes to get a lift from the Lido car park (The Rye, High Wycombe). The bus will leave at 10:00 promptly.
Alternatively meet us on site at 10:15 at the far end of Eastwood Road. The nearest postcode is HP14 3SN.
Please park considerately of residents along Eastwood Road.
Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

Important! In order to track numbers please also register for this session via Eventbrite. If you are booking for more than one person please make sure you book one ticket for each person to ensure we bring enough tools for everyone.
The task:
Lots of jobs including planting fruit trees and hedgerows, spreading woodchip and removing unwanted vegetation.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
- 10:00: Minibus departs from Wycombe Lido.
- 10:15: Arrival on site and work begins
- 11:30: Tea & coffee break
- 13:00: Finish for the day and minibus arrives back at Wycombe Lido. If you're not on the minibus feel free to stay and help us finish off!
What to bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there is thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.

Please bring plenty of fluids. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Volunteering and COVID-19:
Please do not attend sessions if you have tested positive for COVID or if you have COVID symptoms e.g. a new continuous cough, a high temperature, a loss of, or change in your normal sense of taste or smell.
