「日本のガウディ」と呼ばれる建築家・梵 寿綱（ぼん・じゅこう）を知っていますか。
1934年東京浅草生まれ、早稲田大学理工学部建築学科を卒業後、渡米しシカゴ芸術大学で絵画・彫刻・工芸などを学び、1974年「梵寿綱と仲間たち」として活動を開始。アーティストとのコラボレーションを行いながら、都内にドラード和世陀（新宿区早稲田）、斐禮祈(ひらき） 賢者の石（豊島区池袋）などのユニークな集合住宅を設計しています。
ハプニングタワーは1971年築の建物をリフォームしたそうで、普通のビルがカラフルなタイルのお化けに侵食されたような外観。中の階段や廊下が各階ごとにカラーが異なり、モロッコやスペインを旅しているようなカラフルで華やかなタイル使い。天井、壁、階段、照明・・・。一つ一つが大切にデザインされていて、各階ごとに違う世界観が味わえます。※実際に住人が住んでいますのでプライバシーにご配慮ください。

Do you know the architect Jukou Bon, who is called "Japan's Gaudi''?
Born in Asakusa, Tokyo in 1934, after graduating from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, he moved to the United States and studied painting, sculpture, and crafts at the Chicago Institute of the Arts, and in 1974 began his activities as "Bon Jukou and His Friends''. While collaborating with artists, he designs unique apartment complexes in Tokyo such as "Dorado Waseda" (Waseda, Shinjuku Ward) and "Hiraki Kenja no ishi" (Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward).
"Happening Tower" seems to have been renovated from a building built in 1971, and it looks like an ordinary building that has been invaded by colorful tile ghosts. The stairs and hallways inside have a different color on each floor, and the use of colorful and gorgeous tiles makes you feel like you're traveling to Morocco or Spain. Ceilings, walls, stairs, lighting... Each one is carefully designed, and you can enjoy a different view of the world on each floor. *Please be considerate of privacy as the residents actually live there.
