Come join HOG to experience one of the most incredible natural events of your lifetime! Waldo, Ohio is in the path of totality for the Total Solar Eclipse of 2024! Observers there will see (approximately) 3m 11.95 of totality!
Partial phase start: 13:56:05 (EDT)
Totality Start: 15:11:24 (EDT)
Mid-eclipse: 15:13:00 (EDT)
We will be set up rain or shine! Hopefully, shine. But even if it rains we'll still gather together for a bit and give out prizes. (If we get close to the event and it looks like rain or otherwise unfavorable weather is inevitable, we will make an announcement and shorten the length of the event).
HOG will provide 25 pairs of certified eclipse glasses. If you want to be absolutely sure you'll have a pair of eclipse glasses, I would recommend bringing your own. (Please do not view the eclipse without approved eclipse glasses!).
Please bring whatever you would like to sit on, and anything you might need to keep yourself comfortable outside for 3 hours at the beginning of April in Ohio. Please feel free to bring whatever food and drinks you would like. HOG will provide some themed snacks!
We will have prizes, and a 50/50 raffle. Come wallow with us! We're totality awesome!
