Walking the route we adopted, we came across the secret kingdom.. nestled in a copse, it's worth the walk.
Marral Woodland is my a really. Part of Helen Browning's organic farm estate, they had very little woodland on the farm, and so they planted this 18 acre heavy clay field, which was always troublesome, with thousands of trees some 16 years ago. It’s a great place to walk your dog, picnic or make dens and you’ll notice the different combinations of native trees as you walk the circular path, with lots of fruit and hazel intermingled. Now
managed in partnership with the Woodland Trust. Embrace the magic 🪵🥾🍃
