Geocache Description:

At this location in Broadford, Victoria.. hides my Largest, hopefully most fun and interactive geocache ever! I put lots of thought and work into it so I hope you have a great time!

this geocache was once my pet's house.. my Blue Tounged Lizard, named Lizzie! She lived in it as a temporary home while she was a baby / juvenile. I moved house to broadford just in November 2023, and so did Lizzie! I decided she had outgrown the enclosure, and so now she has a nice big permanent one that she's loving! You can see a picture in the cache gallery. So anyway, of course I didn't need the small tank anymore, but what better idea than to turn it into a nice, big geocache!?

I adjusted the enclosure to make it a suitable geocache, there's lots of Swag, and a seperate Travelbug hotel! I even made a little album for a fun interactive activity! You see, on the sides of the tank, there is symbols, pretty sure it's Chinese, but could be Japanese. While my lizard was living in the tank I got the idea to translate them! It says something different and amusing every time! The name of this geocache was the very first result. I didn't get a screenshot of it, but I did screenshot more! I thought it would be fun for geocachers to translate the sides when they find it as a geocache!

the album I made contains printed screenshots of the translate results, I've started off with all of my own, but if you attach your own  screenshots with your online found logs, I will print them and add them to the album when I do maintenance! I'll also be writing your geocaching username under the picture, so future geocache finders can read them and hopefully have some fun!

as for the actual geocache and where to find it, the geocache is hidden at the back of the tall wooden fence, there is also a waypoint for a scenic view under the bridge, I think it's a beautiful spot for photos!

just think, on the other side of that fence but down the street a bit, Lizzie is living in her new enclosure! The old enclosure is still connected to our home somehow! Here's a photo of Lizzie looking at the fence from our backyard.

I reccomend wearing good shoes and long pants to find the geocache, as you'll have to walk through a bit of long grass and there is a few thorns and prickles. Just be careful! Kids should love this geocache for the album activity and all the treasure in the swag container, Just keep an eye on the spikey things and put the geocache where they can look into it easily and safely!

As you'll need to pull out the geocache when you find it, please try to keep the grass fluffed up around it so it's not too obvious where it is when you put it back.
thank you, I hope you enjoy it!
