This cache is placed along the Clutha Gold Trail and is accessible either by bicycle or walking. Please be aware of others using the trail as both walkers and cyclists will be about most days. This section of the trail follows alongside the railway line with views of picturesque farmland and if you keep your eyes open, you will most likely see a few rabbits crossing the trail.
The Clutha Gold Trail extends 135km from the rolling farmlands of Lake Waihola through to the hills and rocky outcrops of Roxburgh. Typically the trail takes 2-4 days to cycle and you can choose to do parts of the trail either by bike or on foot.
