Activity: Willow Whip Harvesting

Number of volunteers required: ~12-15 people
Details: Participants will be harvesting willow cuttings to be used in ecological restoration projects. Metro Vancouver will provide all the necessary tools (i.e. work gloves, loppers, pruners). Please dress appropriately for the activity and weather. Close-toed shoes are required. Bring hip or chest waders if up to harvesting in the pond (up to 2’ deep).
