Hoover, SD us a small town in Butte County. Population is 3 people, but still makes a good destination for food, snacks and drinks. A town dating back to the turn of the century, Hoover was not named for the president but a rancher in the general area. The town nearly died, but was reborn in 1976 when the present owner bought the general store. It's now a familiar stopping point during the annual Sturgis rally, off hwy 79.
