The Golf Garden was a family friendly Driving Range, Putt Putt, and Executive 9 hole golf course in Miramar Beach FL for 30 years. It has hosted middle school golf matches, parties, practice sessions, and friendship groups over the years, but alas, development has encroached and the property was sold. Part was to become an apartment complex, to accomodate the tourist industry's demand for service employees. However, Walton County purchased 10 acres at the rear of the property accessible from Forest Shore Drive and Walton Way. The county has created a nice park named Paradise Park with a path, numerous lakes, park benches, and in the near future, an amphitheater and some gazebos. The cache is in the park just off the asphalt path an easy walk along what was previously the 7th hole. It is not a difficult find, but will take some effort to locate. Have fun and enjoy the park, envisioning the tees, greens, and traps on the interesting layout that many of us played over the years.
