Very quick park and grab in one of the smallest towns in Wyoming. You are looking for a camouflaged tupperware container.
Bill, Wyoming was originally founded just after WWI by a doctor and his wife. They named it “Bill,” because of a peculiar pattern they noticed of many gentlemen in the surrounding area bearing that name. For decades, the town retained a population never really going higher than 10 souls. The elementary school and Post Office were established mostly for ranchers in the surrounding region than actual residents, and many amenities were opened for the same clientele. Though it is closed now, the Bill General Store was once the only place to get gas for 50 miles in any direction.
An owner of the general store years ago established the “Bill Yacht Club,” a large joke that many loved because of the lack of water or boats anywhere nearby. They used to sell souvenirs and t-shirts featuring a broken rowboat in the prairie as the titular “Yacht.” About a decade ago, Bill was chosen as a location for a large hotel and diner, primarily servicing railroad workers who were in need of their mandatory break. Bill’s proximity to the railroad made it a perfect location for these amenities, but some locals wonder if it's brought prosperity or ruin to the proud, small, and tight knit town on the grasslands. What do you think?
