Geocache Description:


滬尾砲台公園與二級古蹟「滬尾砲台」名稱雖相近卻相隔約一公里。公園入口處可見新北市立淡水古蹟博物館設立之清法戰爭滬尾之役紀念碑。此處由新北市政府於縣府時期闢建為公園，占地計八公頃，公園內有高低起伏的地形變化及綠意盎然的大片草皮，視野遼闊，規劃各項休憩設施，故今日已成為民眾運動、野餐、遛狗、拍攝婚紗的景點。(資料取自淡水維基館、新北市立淡水古蹟博物館)
