The cache is located at the attractively landscaped entrance area to the Guangzhou Science and Technology Finance Center (广州科技金融中心). In December 2019 it was an empty grass field after three large buildings were demolished in 2017. Constructed proceeded rapidly during 2022 and 2023 and the building is now open. The pathway leading into the complex has an attractive, winding design and it's one of the best examples of buildings along the blueway opening up and welcoming the waterfront and blueway rather than blocking it off or ignoring it.
