Historia
• W listopadzie 1914 wojska rosyjskie gen. Aleksieja Brusiłowa zajęły całe te tereny, nacierając na południe, w stronę Karpat. 7 grudnia dowodzona przez generała Svetozara Boroevića 3 Armia austro-węgierska przeszła do ofensywy i 11 grudnia jej jednostki wypierając armię rosyjską dotarły na przedpola Nowego Sącza.
Na cmentarzu w Barcicach pochowano 42 żołnierzy, a wśród nich:
-5 żołnierzy armii rosyjskiej,
-37 żołnierzy armii austro-węgierskiej z 13 pułku piechoty, 32 i 34 pułku piechoty landwery, 23 pułku piechoty honwedu, 9 pułku dragonów, 13 pułku ułanów, 30 pułku strzelców. Wśród nich znajdował się Polak o nazwisku Zaręba-Cielęcki.

History
• In November 1914, the Russian troops of General Alexei Brusilov occupied this entire area, pushing south towards the Carpathians. On December 7, the 3rd Austro-Hungarian Army, commanded by General Svetozar Boroević, went on the offensive and on December 11, its units, displacing the Russian army, reached the outskirts of Nowy Sącz.
42 soldiers were buried at the cemetery in Barcice, including:
-5 soldiers of the Russian army
-37 soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian Army from the 13th Infantry Regiment, 32nd and 34th Landwery Infantry Regiment, 23rd Honved Infantry Regiment, 9th Dragoon Regiment, 13th Uhlan Regiment, 30th Rifle Regiment. Among them was a Pole named Zaręba-Cielęcki.
