Just a little spotlight on Prince of Wales Dr. It's a road that I traversed numerous times. So why not cache in on it!
Prince of Wales is the continuation of the Queen Elizabeth Highway at Preston Street. From Dow's Lake, through The Central Experimental Farm, continues past Hunt Club Rd. then follows the Rideau River past Barrhaven and Manotick. Finally travelling southwest to North Gower and ending at Fourth Line Road.
As for the cache, It's located beside a pathway that hugs the river, with a couple of decent lookouts onto Mooney's Bay. You may catch the sunrise or catch a glimpse of a pirate ship! Winter paths may not be maintained.
The photo below was found on Wikipedia. The road snaking up the middle is Prince of Wales Dr. The large snowy patch (middle far right) is the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. Northwest from there is another snowy patch. This is where we are at Mooney's Bay. Lastly, northwest from Mooney's Bay, the last large snowy patch. The Central Experimental Farm.
