Ravensbourne came into use with the Catford Loop on 1st July 1892; the line was promoted under the auspices of the nominally independent "Shortlands & Nunhead Railway Company", but was worked by the London Chatham & Dover Railway (LC&DR) from the outset. The station retains its Victorian air of a quiet country station although its roadside booking office was rebuilt after a fire in 1988.
When I first started caching I enjoyed finding Sludgebucket's SideTracked caches. Sadly he is no longer with us so I thought I'd resurrect some of the hides.
