This is a tribute to lahontan's MTM multicache and a re-tribute to Shaddows MTM Tribute using a similar write up. All of the waypoints are close to where they were the last iteration with some changes to make it fresh and to avoid some future logging in the area. Waypoints are all physical. I've hiked to them all at least 5 times and done the entire route 3 times. I think this has a bit of everything for the entrepid explorers. Some new trails and new waypoint placements have reduced but not eliminated the bushwacking to a managable level The original description is provided verbatim(with edits and an updated photo) below:
This will lead you part way along one of my favorite Tiger Mountain hikes. I had to make a number of changes to this cache as others popped up along my intended route and forced me to move waypoints. This is not just a walk along the trail cache. There will be some off trail searches for waypoints that should make this more challenging and time consuming than the average walk in the forest cache(its not so bad really). Each waypoint is a decon container(only 1 original decon remain) and the final is an ammo can(the OG can!). The hiding place for WP1 is fragile so search with gentle hands. The four star rating reflects distance of the hike and the off trail search for WP2. Waypoint searches should not be particularly difficult.
Plan on being out for at least a 12 mile(likely more) round trip if you do an "out and back" hike.
