Old Canberra Inn
Thursday, 28 March 2024
4.30pm to 5.30pm
Take a break from the Capital GeoBash and come down to enjoy a catch up at an historic Canberra location. The original slab hut was built in 1856 and the inn served as a coach stop on the Yass to Queanbeyan run until 1887. The Old Canberra Inn (OCI) is now most well known for its beers, with their ten beer taps exclusively serving craft beer. They also serve a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and meals. Enjoy a catch up with mates, a bevvy and/or a meal before heading out for more caching or another tour.
The event will be held in the rear beer garden, off the Schumack Room - enter the front doors and make your way through the doors on the right, through the next room to the outside beer garden. The garden affords room to mingle and I have booked several tables and will have a Capital GeoBash banner so you can identify the event. If you are planning to stay for dinner I would recommend making your own table booking by calling the OCI on (02)6134.6000.
