Simple 2-step multi-cache at the Edison Birthplace. The final coordinates are: N 41 17.ABC, W -82 36.DEF
All clues can be obtained from the front of the birthplace. You can even stay on the sidewalk in you wish.
A:
If you look to the left of the statue of Edison, you will see a small, black plaque with gold lettering. At the bottom of the plaque you will see the date that the bench was put in. It is February_____,2020. What day in February was the bench put in? Subtract 6 for the answer to A.
B:
If you stand directly in front of the home, to the left you will see a bench with a statue of Thomas Edison sitting on it. In Edison's left hand he is holding something. What is it? The number of letters it takes to spell this object -2 is the answer for letter B.
C:
There is a white fence surronding the home. Inside of the fiece there is a dark-green sign. It says "The Birthplace of Thomas A. Edison Febuary 11, 184____?' What is the final digit for the year on the green sign? The number is the answer to C.
D:
A little further right of the green sign, there is a stone bench. Behind the stone bench there is an Ohio Historical Marker. At the very bottom of the marker there is a date. What is the final digit of the date? 200___? The final digit -1 is the answer for letter D.
E:
Add 5 to the answer for D for letter E.
F:
Finally, go back to the statue of Edison on the bench. There is a certain number of buttons on his shirt (make sure to count the smaller ones on top). HINT the amount of buttons is greater than 5. Take the total number of buttons and subtract 8 for the answer to F.
