Kampung Air
Kampung Air is a budget hotel belt in the heart of KK, located within walking distance from major tourist attractions in the city that include City Park, Gaya Street, Waterfront and Filipino Market. This commercial district was named after a water village that once held here - standing on stilts across sea water that was reclaimed to build the modern landscape.

At its center of activity is a large atrium complex that houses a famous collection of seafood restaurants under one roof called 'Seri Selera Kampung Air'. Here, visitors can take their pick of live seafood held in tanks and get it cooked to various local styles of cooking. A night market also takes place within the vicinity daily.

Now, a dozen-plus colorful artworks, portraits, anime, cartoonish, surreal images, and fonts in bright colors, beckon visitors to this street, previously unexplored by most. The result is a more vibrant back alley, decidedly cleaner.
