For a long time I have been one of those geocachers who had to hike if I wanted a real 4x4 cache. Now that I own my own Jeep I can start my own series of challenging to get to caches.
Not only will you need a 4x4 to get to this cache, you will have a steep 300 feet in altitude climb at the end. After you catch your breath, the view of Lake Isabella is stunning. I made it to the bottom of the trail, barely. I would recommend starting your hike earlier, the hill was SKETCHY in a Jeep.
