En 1914 la caserne militaire de Labry où est installée le 16ème bataillon de chasseurs à pied (BCP). Dont la garnison s'est battue a la ferme de Tremblois situé a la sortie de Labry. La carene, fut transformée en logements et en loceaux associatifs comme le Souvenir Français.
