Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches placed along the footpath from the Round House to Earnse Bay, representing the planets of the solar system. You will need to bring a pen or pencil to sign the logs and you may need tweezers to get the log out of some of them. Please just write your initials on very small logs and replace the cache very carefully in its hiding place.

Saturn is the second largest planet in the Solar System, after Jupiter and, like Jupiter, it is mostly gas. Its most distinctive feature is its rings, made up of particles of ice, rocks and dust. Its largest moon, Titan, is larger than the planet Mercury. Saturn was the Roman god of agriculture whose father was Jupiter and Saturn’s day has become our Saturday.
