Stone based seating with steel wire and frames has been installed at regular intervals along this section of the blueway.
Wood and stone seating blend with the natural surroundings. Naturalistic seating invites users to pause, rest, and engage more deeply with the setting. This can enhance the recreational experience by providing spots for contemplation, bird watching, or simply enjoying the river's sounds and sights. Or, more likely, it will just go empty and unused for years or decades because who wants to sit on a seat in the middle of nowhere contemplating nothing?
And is the seating really necessary even if someone did want to actually sit down here, considering the ease of just sitting on grass or a rock? At least it's handy for both hiding and logging caches, so it's not completely superfluous.
