Welcome to Liddington! 
 

This is a starting point for one of our most frequent hikes, a gateway to many routes and a genuinely beautiful spot. Loved by Richard Jeffries, Alfred Williams and Charles Hamilton Sorley. Hike the Ridgeway, Hike up to Liddington Castle, the remains of a historical Iron Age Settlement. There are also the remains of a WWII decoy bunker called the Starfish decoy bunker, which played a large part in keeping Swindon safe. 
 

We have placed a few caches along this walk and will add to it when we visit, keep your eyes peeled.
