CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
WELCOME TO THE MILTON GEOART SERIES
This series is not about the hides. It is about puzzles and places. All cache hides will be a DNA tube stuck in a hole (think Stop, Speed Limit, Dead End and the like). As you finish the puzzles and find the containers, make sure to note the letters associated with each number noted on the log. In the end you should have 13 letters that make up a phrase that is related to the town of Milton. This will be the code word for the FINAL for the series.
Milton, better known as Mill Town in the 1890’s, owes its beginning to the timber industry. It was the first settlement in the area that supplied lumber to the mill. Rejecting the two-named town, the US Postal Service forced the town to change its name to Milton. As the town grew, it shed its timber roots to become a bedroom community supplying other, much larger cities, with workers. Straddling the King and Pierce County line, the town’s population in 2021 had almost reached 9,000 residents.
