Sayama Lake (Yamaguchi Reservoir) is an earth dam that uses the Tama River as its main source of water.
Located in Tokorozawa and Iruma cities in Saitama Prefecture, Sayama Lake is surrounded by a vast protected forest and maintains a satoyama environment in the neighborhood.
The stored water is delivered to the Sakai Water Filtration Plant and other facilities via the adjacent Tama Lake (Murayama Reservoir) via the Tama Lake Bicycle Path.
Fuji and the mountains of Okutama can be seen from GZ.

狭山湖（山口貯水池）は多摩川を主な水源としたアースダムです。
埼玉県の所沢市と入間市に位置する狭山湖は、周辺を広大な保護林で囲まれ、近隣に里山の環境を保持しています。
貯えられた水は、隣接する多摩湖(村山貯水池)を経由して多摩湖自転車道を通り、境浄水場などに送水されています。
GZからは狭山湖の四季折々の表情と生き物たち、富士山、そして奥多摩の山々を眺めることができます。
