The blueway here is opposite the Jinfa Science and Tehchnology Innovation Community (金发科技创新社区西区) to the east, with much lower value and lower density warehousing, truck parking and vacant land to the east.
The theme of 'innovation' in some senses extends to the cache, which may not be at the initially expected place.
The 'Innovation Community' was built in the early 2000s and it does not appear to have direct access to the blueway, perched above huge retaining walls. It looks quite basic and functional from a time when such office parks did not need special designs to entice tenants, bearing little resemblance to the more recently designed 'innovation communities' or technology office parks dotted around Tianhe and especially Huangpu.
