Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 363,000 people have volunteered at well over 18,000 CITO events.
Twice per year, geocachers can earn virtual souvenirs by hosting and attending events during CITO seasons. Sounds like a win-win to me. The first 2024 souvenir is available from March 1 through May 31. There will be another in the fall.Â
We will gather at the parking area for Rachel Carson Conservation Park from 8:30-9:30am and pick up trash in the park. I will provide bags. Please bring your own gloves and/or grabbers.Â

She made the world a better place and so can we. Hope to see you there!
