These tennis courts, known as Montrose Terrace, were once the home of the Montrose Tennis Club. After the tennis club moved to the Montrose Recreation Reserve, the club house was used for a period by the Mooroolbark Men’s Shed.
With the facility now abandoned, the clubhouse has fallen victim to vandals, and nature is gradually reclaiming the courts.
This cache is the successor to the late Byker’s cache GC7WHH5 Game Set & Maze which iteem adopted. Due to the unfortunate removal of the original scoreboard which formed the hide, we regretfully archived the cache.
This cache utilises one of the very few remaining pieces of tennis infrastructure. It is a micro with room for a log only. BYOP.
