Welcome to Hartsgrove Township Cemetery! The cemetery drive is a large loop with the entrance on the north end and the exit on the south. Please be respectful of all who rest here.
Sunup to sundown caching at this location only!
As far as I can tell, there have been four different caches hidden in this cemetery over the years, prior to this one. The way things are going, I have a feeling that there will probably be a cache here until the end of the world.
Actually, the cache title refers to an old science fiction movie from 1991 starring William Hurt. In the film, which takes place in 1999, Hurt plays a man on the run after stealing a special camera that can not only record video, but can also record the experience of the person who is doing the recording by tapping into their brain impulses. This is particularly important since the recording can then be experienced by someone else by sending the recorded impulses directly into their brain. In the movie, Hurt's mother is blind, so the camera is the only way she can finally "see" her family members. Hurt travels the globe making recordings of family and friends so he can take them to be experienced by his mother who is in Australia. The results are less than spectacular however.
Later in the film Hurt and his companion begin experimenting with recording their dreams. The unforeseen result of this experimentation is that they become addicted to watching the playback of their own dreams. What would you do if you were able to watch the video of something you just dreamed?
The movie also features the title song "Until the End of the World" by U2. Check out the film and the soundtrack if you're so inclined, but definitely check out this new cache!
Haven't seen you in quite a while
I was down the hold just passing time
Last time we met was a low-lit room
We were as close together as a bride and groom
We ate the food, we drank the wine
Everybody having a good time
Except you
You were talking about the end of the world
I took the money
I spiked your drink
You miss too much these days if you stop to think
You lead me on with those innocent eyes
You know I love the element of surprise
In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You
You were acting like it was the end of the world
