Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!

It is hidden somewhere within two miles of the posted coordinates though.  You can start your search from anywhere!  This Wherigo allows you to search for the cache using only distance clues (no directions).

And I've got such a long way to go
(Such a long way to go)
To make it to the border of Mexico
So I ride like the wind, ride like the wind

No, you won't be heading to the Mexican border to find this cache, and you shouldn't need to drive like the wind either.  If you do succeed at zeroing in on this cache though, you may just find yourself at a county border.  You'll have to figure out which county you need to be in to find the cache.  There is a small mile-0 marker just a short distance away from the hiding spot, so you'll know when you're actually crossing the border.

The cartridge was created by -Waldmeister- and is available to download from the wherigo.com website.  Please be sure you have the most current version of the module loaded on your device, as it is updated occasionally.  Older versions will no longer work.  -Waldmeister-'s "The first Reverse Cache [WIG]" is the original cache in this family.

The basic idea is to find the final cache while being given only your distance to it.   To get the current distance, you can ask the Reverse Cache Box in your inventory, but it won't tell you the direction to the hiding spot - that's for you to figure out!   There is no limit to how many times you can ask, but try to keep your number of attempts as low as possible.   Theoretically, you should only need three queries to triangulate on the cache, but in practice you'll probably need more.   All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the Wherigo are provided in the cartridge itself, which is multilingual. The Reverse Wherigo is a generic cartridge that works on many such caches worldwide.

To identify this particular Reverse Wherigo version, you must type this code into your player device when asked:

606311

489003

720838

You should probably keep this code handy, as you'll need it if you have to restart for any reason.

Once you zero in on a spot close to the final location, you can try to find the cache yourself without any more queries.  If you make a query within a very short distance of the cache location, you will receive the actual final coordinates and can follow your GPSr from there.  Otherwise, you probably won't need your GPS receiver at all when playing this Wherigo.  After you make the find, feel free to post the number of queries you needed to find the cache in your log.  There is no "completion code" for this cartridge.
