This is to replace GC2RD6T by Equis Des Fous which was being maintained by Chudles, but has been archived due to recent DNFs and I confirmed the same. It is great location for a cache so would be a shame to not maintain. The cache is very close to the same location (just somewhere maybe safer to access) and same steps needed to solve as before.
We are starting at Buffalo Creek Reserve which is a great place for kids - huge playground, flying fox, BBQs and possibly the best track to learn to ride a bike for miles around. Families come here early morning on weekends to reserve the limited seating.
This is a hopefully straight forward multi.
At the listed co-ordinates you will find a small plaque commemorating the opening of the playground. If the date is the AB (day) of the CD (month number) of EFGH (year) then the next waypoint can be found at:
S 33° H(H+5).F(B+H)B
E 151° D(A*H).BA(A+E+H)
At waypoint 2 you will find an object with the code “GL-VWXYZ”. You will find the resting place of the cache at:
S 33° (Z÷2)X.(W+Y)(X÷3)(X÷3) +3
E 151° VZ.(X÷3×2)( X÷3×2)(X-4) +2
Happy hunting and enjoy the Big Rock!
Note you can access the cache from just off the path and no need to climb far down or up and do anything dangerous.
