I love hunting caches in Old Cemeteries. It's quiet. Not any muggles. Very few bairs. Plus there is a lot of history in each one. Plenty of parking at the front gate and an easy walk to GZ. The grass is grown up but some work on the site has been done. The oldest tombstone I could find was around 1883.
I couldn't find much history on Cedar Creek Cemetery but according to one web site, the cemetery is located on a site where the Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church and school once stood. The school and church were later moved.
This cemetery has a lot of unique headstones. As alway, Please be respectful when visiting the cemetery and pick up any trash that you may encounter.
This cache is a medicine bottle, hidden in a typical fashion. It is not near or on any of the grave sites. It is surrounded by nature own. BYOP as this is log only. Replace as found so others may enjoy the hunt.
