Over the weekend I was out in Okee picking up a few caches, an area I had never visited despite being close dozens of times. That's the beauty of geocaching -- it brings you to areas you might not see. As I was coming back from another hide, I noticed this lovely old community center and stopped to take a look. There is also a Little Free Library in the form of a replica of the old community center.
I was surprised that no one had hidden a cache here, so I thought I'd do so myself. There is a park for kids to play in, a few restaurants and bars nearby, and of course, Lake Wisconsin. When I placed this in February, it was pretty quiet, but I imagine it gets busy in warm weather, so stealth is probably in order. I was watched by four eagles perched in the big oak tree close to the water, which I considered a special treat.
This is a micro, so keep that in mind as you search.
