This is a geocache puzzle that involves walking around squirrel hill. According to google maps, this walk will take about 25 minutes in addition to any time it takes you to comprehend my directions. The walk is entirely on sidewalks.
***This cache does not require you to enter private property or go anywhere where you shouldn't. If you are unsure about any of the directions, feel free to message me. I'll respond in a hopefully reasonable amount of time.***
Start at the posted coordinates.
HEY!!! What are you doing in the middle of the street?
You quickly scurry towards the nearest patch of grass. Sadly, it is fenced off.
As you stand there, you spot a parking lot across the street. Wait, not that parking lot, the one that's NOT covered. You move to the other side of the patch of grass to see it better. A great place for a cache, you think.
You cross the street at the intersection and make your way to the parking lot. You walk inside and enter, but you sadly notice there isn't a good place for a geocache besides some LPHs. And you're beyond that.
You turn left out of the parking lot and continue down the sidewalk.
Oooh, some nice fields to your left.
WAIT, thats a school, you can't place a cache there! You scurry down the sidewalk to the next intersection.
At the intersection, You head towards Hollen's den.
At the next four-way intersection you notice, huh, there's a geocache nearby. You go up the street and find the cache. You continue up the street the cache was on.
EEEEK, School again, you can't place a cache there! You run to the next intersection.
Ooh, a parklet! Perfect for a geocache. You cross the street, get out a nano from your caching bag, but notice there is another cache too close. Shucks.
These lights last forever, so you decide to continue without crossing the street again. You do not go back towards the school. You walk to the next intersection.
At the next intersection, you continue in the opposite direction of the one way street. You cross the street once to do this.
You walk a little bit before spotting a parking lot on the other side of the street. Perfect!
You do NOT jaywalk, you cross the street again and make your way to the parking lot. You get out a container, hide it in the lamp post closet to the entrance (yeah, i lied about you hating those before), get coordinate readings, and publish it for review.
Keystone says that there is a mystery cache too close. Shucks. You decide to solve the nearby mystery cache, this one, and find out that the final coords are 500 feet away. Just 28 feet too close! You put it into your GPS and see that it is at a bearing of 220°.
You make your way to your solved coords and find a black bison. You sign the log at complete your adventure! Woohoo!
