Maintaining our Resolution - An April Clean Up!
 

For a dedicated group of regulars, this plaza in front of the King Street Station is a common meeting ground in the wee hours of the morning to discuss our favorite topic - geocaching! It can also be quite a messy place, despite recent efforts by the city to improve the appearance. One of my New Year Resolutions is to help keep our event spot clean - and it is a resolution I intend to keep! This is no April Fool's Day joke!  - so let's get serious about taking some time to clean up our gameboard! Hopefully you can join us between 0645 and 0745 to pick up and dispose of some local litter.

This event will be held at the posted coordinates, and while the focus will be on the King Street Station Plaza, once cachers check in and sign the log they are encouraged to expand beyond the plaza to continue with their clean up efforts. The host will provide the following items: Trash Bags, Event Log, and a pen to sign into the event. Cachers are recommended to bring their own gloves, trash grabbers, hot beverages, and anything else they may desire/require.

Trash will be disposed of by cachers in the city provided bins at the plaza and/or in the surrounding neighborhood. In the event that more trash is collected than can be disposed of, the CO will coordinate its removal.

The CO will be at the posted coordinates with the log and trash bags from 0645 until 0745. Come for the whole time or just a portion of it.

Please note this event will occur rain or shine and with or without snow. Please dress appropriately for the weather!
