Geocache Description:

You are searching for a "Letter Box Hybrid Cache " West of Saskatoon. Letter Boxing is a sport similar to geocaching that began in England in the mid 1800's. This was before modern GPS geocaching and involved the use of maps, compass and verbal clues to find a hidden letter box. The letter box container contained a stamp which finders could use to stamp their personal log book and they inturn stamped the letter box log with their personal stamp they bought with them. Letter Boxing is still active today and there are several Letter Box's located in Saskatchewan. This Letter Box Hybrid is designed so that cachers can find it without the use of GPS technology in fact Inspecor LaPep encourages you to leave your GPS at home and try to find it using traditional Letter Boxing tools.
