The building in front of you is the Franklin Carnegie Library one of 32 built in Texas, of which only 13 still remain today. The Franklin Carnegie Library was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. After serving for a few years as a library the building was used for school classes and various other activities. Currently it serves as the Robertson County Library.
